This website is created by a group of BC K-12 educators who wanted to explore the following inquiry question: How might a framework of a balanced numeracy lead to increased capacity and confidence in math teaching, ultimately resulting in deeper learning for our students? From this, six components to blanked numeracy was developed. The six components are Foundations, Assessment, Instructional Practices, Engagement, Connections, and Environment.
